REPAIR TO VILLA CAPRI FACADE IN BENIDORM – ALICANTE.

This job consisted of repairing and refurbishing the rear facade of the Villa Capri building in Benidorm, in the province of Alicante, and was commissioned by its Community of Owners.

The work consisted of chipping away the exterior cladding of the rear facade which had deteriorated due to the weather over time. Apart from this work on the facade, the existing metal trellis. which formed the balcony of each house, was sanded and painted. The floor slab of the last roof was also repaired. This involved a more thorough repair to find deeper damage to the structure of the building and it was necessary to remove part of the structural concrete in addition to the exterior cladding, and treat the corroded framework with repair mortar and cladding.

Given the building’s great height and the high cost of using traditional scaffolding, the works had to be performed from the general roof of the building using the new monorail hanging scaffolding system.
