Swimming pool repair as part of the project repairing parts of the Mirador de la Cala urbanization for its Community of Owners in Villajoyosa, Alicante.
Parts of the pool had begun to collapse because of the differentials in the land causing the structure’s base to break, crack and lose water, which was seeping into the soil below causing further damage. This called for immediate action to avoid further problems.
This repair work consisted of overhauling the swimming pool by injecting it with polyurethane resins, a novel process and one with great potential in the intervention and repair of foundations in general, whether of buildings, walls or in our case swimming pools.
Once the land is reinforced with the injected resins, the structure of the pool is to be repaired with special repair mortars, the hydraulic parts restored and finally the pool cladding restored.
