STRUCTURAL REPAIR WORKS ON 9 VALDES STREET IN ALICANTE.
The Community of Owners of the building located at 9 Valdes street in the city of Alicante, employed our company, Esclapés e Hijos S.L. to carry out repair works and structural reinforcement of their property.

The building located at 9 Valdes street in Alicante is more than 50 years old.
On the top floor of this building there was structural damage in the form of rust of the framework caused by leaks from the general roof of the building.
The Community of Owners commissioned our company Esclapés e Hijos S.L. to carry out the repair work.
The repair and structural reinforcement included preventing the process of deterioration. This method involved cutting concrete which is in a bad state until we uncovered the framework, followed by cleaning and brushing the framework, coating it with passivate and finally replacing the concrete.
As this work is not sufficient to maintain structural integrity, structural reinforcement is carried out through an innovative system of mechanised beams of the mechanviga variety.
This system consists of placing additional beams below the joists of the structure.
