Aitana school is a well-known educational centre, located in Torrellano, a town situated in the municipality of Elche. For many years, it has stood out in its field due to its facilities.
These facilities require regular maintenance and modifications. Our company is generally responsible for such reform work, due to the trust we have gained with the property owners, a trust inspired by the reliability of our services.
In this case, the property owners wanted to reform the sports courts, and subsequently install a solar protection system on the facade.
WHAT DO THESE ACTIONS CONSIST OF?
Since the sports courts are subject to continuous wear, the reform consisted of renovating the pavement and installing porous concrete, which would offer more resistance to wear and exposure to the elements, with a non-slip finish, making it ideal for sports practice. New football nets were also set up, which is essential in any school nowadays.
On the other hand, slats were fixed to the facade in order to protect it from harmful sunlight, while also serving to shade students from the daytime heat. This system is a manually formed lattice of adjustable aluminum slats.
The end result is not only practical and effective, but also pleasing to the eye and functional.
