The Department of Housing has begun to publicise the Housing Refurbishment Plan for 2017, more specifically the RENHATA PLAN for real estate reform.

These grants compliment those included in the State Plan, which facilitate the conservation of common elements of buildings, improving the quality and sustainability of construction components and contributing to the elimination of architectural barriers and direct municipalities to finance joint renovation works in buildings and urbanization or redevelopment of public spaces.

Throughout 2017, the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Structure of the Territory has had as its primary objective the support and promotion of urban refurbishment and redevelopment in the Valencian Community, to help improve the quality of life in cities and promote business activity in the construction sector.
The focus on the refurbishment of homes and real estate has informed the 2017 Interior Housing Reform Plan (RENHATA) for financial aid to reform real estate (kitchens, bathrooms and accessibility works) and for the improvement of energy efficiency.

Who is a beneficiary of these grants?
The financial aid can be requested by owners as occupants of the property before 1996.
What conditions must I meet?
Eligible works must have a budget of between 2000 and 12,000 euros.
What help can you give me?
Financial aid is limited to 35% of the job’s budget, up to a maximum of 4200 euros. Included in the budget – in addition to the cost of the works – is the professional fees of competent technicians for drafting projects, reports and certification.
How can I make a request for aid?
Telematics technology is used to process grants and at the end of this month the bases will be published with a March deadline.

To supplement this information, and with the aim of providing information and clarification of any doubts that may arise, a series of talks, conferences and exhibitions are available from the Consellería and from various professional groups involved in the world of housing and real estate refurbishment.
Information day in Alicante
This is the reason we want to reiterate our plans for the next “Information Day in Alicante on the 2017 aid plan (RENHATA) for real estate reform and information on employment exchange, presented by the Consellería.” This will be held next Thursday 2nd March 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Training Centre of the Association of Surveyors of Alicante located at 9 Granizo Street, Pla de la Vallonga Industrial Estate 03006 Alicante.
Free assistance
Technicians of the Department of Public Housing Works and Structure of the Territory, will present the basic conditions of the RENHATA grants and how they function. Assistance is free, although you must register so that numbers can be managed.
