REFURBISHMENT AND REPAIR OF FACADE IN FEDERICO SOTO IN ALICANTE.
This job was commissioned by the building’s Community of Owners. It is located on Federico Soto Avenue in the centre of Alicante. As specialists in this type of work, our company Esclapes e Hijos was entrusted to carry out the job in collaboration with the Communities of Owners.

The work consisted of the refurbishment and repair of various damage on the facade. This damage had occurred over time as materials aged and the building had been exposed to various environmental agents.
Damage to the facade
Repairing the damage ranged from renovating the facade cladding to working at a structural level on the floor slabs.
Work began by knocking off all cladding and deteriorated concrete. Next, the structural damage to the slab edges was assessed and repaired, halting corrosion of the reinforcement, and all structural elements were reconstructed to their original state.

Community of Owners
Since the work began, the community has decided to extend the intervention to the entire facade in order to improve its appearance by renovating the cladding as well as painting and decorating.
Another just as important job was the renovation of the balcony railings as over time they had deteriorated and without action could potentially have presented a serious danger to the residents of the property.
