Esclapés e Hijos is in charge of the protection of the towers of the Alicante City Hall and is acting to establish immediate precautionary measures to prevent further damage.
Last Tuesday there has been an extraordinary and urgent Local Government Meeting so that the action of protection of the building, can be executed imminently.
Esclapés e Hijos has already taken urgent action to prevent falls onto the street, after part of the cornice of the Clock Tower fell down.
The actions to be carried out as part of the extended emergency measures consist of dismantling and stockpiling the crowning balustrade of the towers, as well as placing the necessary preventive protections to avoid the fall of detached elements onto the street.
