They then decided to take advantage of the situation and also carry out a general refurbishment of the entire facade of the building.<\/p>\n<p>The repair of the forged edges consisted of chipping and removing all material which was in poor condition, right down to the reinforcements of the structure. Their condition was inspected and any rust was treated by applying passivants and by bonding old and new materials. Finally the original shape of the structural components was reconstructed using special repair mortar.<\/p>\n<p>On the rest of the facade, work involved sanding areas which were in poor condition, repairing and patching chips and finally painting the entire facade.<\/p>\n<p>In taking advantage of the works, the Community of Owners also undertook to repair and maintain the general facade of the building. This included renewing the waterproofing of the roof by placing a self-protected waterproof sheet.<\/p>\n<h2>JOB COMPLETE<\/h2>\n<p>This job has been carried out as instructed. The cracks have been repaired, and the walls and railings have been painted.
