REFURBISHMENT OF BALC\u00d3N DE PONIENTE\u00a0FACADE BUILDING IN BENIDORM – ALICANTE.<\/h2>\n

The Community of Owners of the Balc\u00f3n de Poniente building in Benidorm hired our services to refurbish the facade of this community building.<\/p>\n

The building is around 25 or 30 years old. It stands on the Benidorm coastline, less than 2 to 3 km from the seafront. Due to its age, exposure to the sea air and having not had the benefit of any maintenance on the facade since its construction, the facade shows noticeable signs of aging.<\/p>\n

This aging of the materials affected the building’s surround, its energy efficiency and of course its aesthetic. The building looked grimy, as well as having small cracks, leaks etc.<\/p>\n

All of this informed the Community of Owners’ decision to renovate the facade, by primarily repairing the cracks and crevices and at the same time improving the external appearance of the structure.<\/p>\n

COMMISSION OF THE JOB<\/h2>\n

With our extensive experience in similar kinds of jobs, our company ESCLAPES E HIJOS S.L., was put in charge of carrying out this work.<\/p>\n

The job itself was not complicated. Basically it required removing parts which were in poor condition, repairing cracks and crevices, reconstructing walls and finally painting.<\/p>\n

The style of the building is very distinctive. Benidorm is a very unique city with and with its great height the Balc\u00f3n de Poniente unsurprisingly dominates the distinctive skyline.<\/p>\n

The San Marino building has 25 floors<\/strong> of apartments and as such the refurbishment of the facade required a lot of care in reaching the work area.<\/p>\n

For this job, scaffolding mounted on a rail was the best choice. The features of this scaffolding allowed 100% accessibility to the workers. This ensured a safe work environment, considering the requirements of the job.<\/p>\n

The refurbishment of the facade has been a success. The requirements of the proprietors have been satisfied and the job has been completed without any significant problems.<\/p>\n
